DOS/WIN9x only: During the collection of huge file lists, e.g.,  > 10,000 files, there may be an insufficient memory problem under Pure Dos, although normally there is no problem to create and transfer more than 20,000 files. If you have any difficulties try this: Use a utility like WinZip or ZipCentral to minimize the number of files.

DOS only:Long folder/directory names cannot be transfered to DOS. Rename the subfolders you want to transfer to the 8.3 DOS format. After Transfer rename it to the original name.

The size of a single file must be less than 2GB (2,000,000,000 Bytes).

The newly created folders always contain the actual date (same behavior as Explorer) of the transfer.
File access information such as date of last access are not transferred. This is considered unnecessary as these files are being transferred to another computer.

Files or folders which are protected by the OS cannot be transferred by Powercopy. But almost every file can be transfered under PURE-DOS.
