Powercopy file transfer functional overview.
Powercopy Professional Logic transfers files and folders between two
computers using the parallel printer port interface (PC, Notebook, Server).
Powercopy uses a logical file copy technique
similar to DOS Xcopy.
To use the software, connect the two PC's together
with the Powercopy parallel port cable (25 pins). Transfer speeds up to
1.5MBytes per second are attainable.
Powercopy must be installed on both computers.
The files are transferred from sender
to receiver like the copy feature used in
Windows. File can be transferred can be established interactive, manual
or automated(full command line suppport). Powercopy is easy to use for
copying files
between two computers and requires no networking knowledge. Powercopy
is
versatile, allowing transfers between different Operating Systems:
e.g.,
DOS<->WINDOWS,WINDOWS<->WINDOWS, WINDOWS<->OS2, OS2 <->OS2, etc.
Powercopy is also useful for data backups!
