Command line parameters
Powercopy's DOS handling is quite similar
to Windows. The DOS program was created to support transfers in Pure DOS
or Windows DOS Shell . The method employed supports automatic scripts (batches).
The transfer rates under Pure DOS are slightly higher than Windows.
W9x/Dos6,Dos7:
The program needed for DOS transfers
(or receptions) is pc.exe and is on the installation disk.
This program must first be
copied into the Windows/Command folder before Powercopy will function in
DOS.
There are two methods to call Powercopy
(pc.exe) under DOS:
Windows DOS Shell is opened
by performing the following:
Click Start then Run
and type 'command' in the text-box followed by a carriage return (Enter).
Pure DOS is opened by performing
the following:
Reboot (Restart) Windows
and press the F8 key before Windows starts (after BIOS has loaded).
NT4/Win2000:
The program needed for cmd.exe
(Dosbox under NT/Win2000) transfers (or receptions) is pc32.exe and is
on the installation disk. Copy this file to a location, where the PATH
environment variable can reach pc32.exe.
Windows cmd-shell
is opened by performing the following:
Click Start then Run
and type 'cmd' in the text-box followed by a carriage return (Enter).
